Konsumprodukt is the music project of Spanish artist Alejandro Remeseiro. Using a potent mixture of speech samples, vintage recordings, and electro-pop drums, Konsumprodukt creates a vivid soundtrack for our fantastic postmodern life. The four tracks on How to Build Your Own Microcosm are composed for home listening, dancing in the discotheque, and reflecting on the role technology plays in our lives. Is it nothing more than a false glittering future or can each individual finally create his or her own perfect microcosm?
